I was not happy when I walked outside this morning. It’s September 23rd, and my car is covered with frost. I’ve written a few times about how much I dislike the cold so I’m sure you can find them if you look hard enough. The thought of snow just makes me cringe.
It seems like I do this with every post lately. Start with something I hate or something really bad and then I try to change my outlook to see something good in it. Well, that’s not what you’re going to get here. Snow is the most worthless thing God ever invented. There is no good use for snow. Hey, if you like to ski, that’s all cool. But I’m going to go grab a boat, jump on the lake and ski in a pair of shorts. You have fun in those freezing temperatures.
Even if snow is another incarnation of Satan himself, I have to at least end this post on a positive thought. Believe me or not, there is a bright side to winter. It’s called Spring. And according to Wikipedia, the Spring Equinox is on March 20th at 5:14 am this year. So I’ve made a countdown widget. You will be able to find this little guy in the sidebar of my blog here until it’s done counting. Only 178 days to go! (at the time of writing.)
