Everyone once and a while I am reminded of the world around me, what’s going on and what everyone else is dealing with. I think my life is crappy sometimes but then I remember how good I actually have it. I bought some thin, hard, off-brand toilet paper today. You know. The kind that feels like sand paper or those paper towels at the doctors office? You know what I’m talking about. The cheap, non-lotioned, cheese grater paper?
Well that got out of hand quick. This post really isn’t supposed to be about toilet paper. Basically I wanted to say that nothing is perfect and sometimes it seems like nothing ever goes right. But I like to keep my posts positive and I found a video today that reminds me of good memories and of good people. Because there are some good people in the world.
This video is the very well known Kurt Bestor song, Prayer of the Children. This not only brings back so many memories of friends and good music when I sang this song in choir but also reminds me that there are good people in this world. This is one of those songs that really makes me believe that there is hope for the future. Some people do still care. Humanity is not completely lost yet.
Then I found another video. This song does basically the same thing for me. Not only is there still amazing music being produced but I have a renewed sense of hope for humanity as a whole. This is Lowlife by Theory of a Deadman. I hope you enjoy both of these videos because I sure did.
