I just saw an article come onto my Twitter feed from @Mashable. It was an article about who has the most followers and who will have the most in the coming days. It’s here if you want to take a look at it. But that’s not what I wanted to discuss right now. I was more intrigued by the nice little tool that was used to find these stats. It’s called TwitterCounter.
The first thing you see that it does is it shows you how many followers you have. Well that’s all fine but Twitter itself does that. Then you see it will make a nice little graph for you out of your followers. That’s pretty cool, I like that. Then you see it. Wait, what? It’s a prediction! It tells you how many followers it thinks you will have tomorrow. Again, this is nothing huge but it is fun to look at. TwitterCounter also gives you the top followed users, some featured users and some neat little Twitter buttons for your website, like this one!
So go out and find out how many followers you are going to have tomorrow or in the next year with this little tool. Do you use something to manage all of your Twitter stats? What do you use and why do you like it? Let me know on Twitter @DevonSchreiner or @InflectoVita or down in the comments.
